Location & Arrival

The closest airport is Innsbruck Airport (110km one way) with a good train connection to Langen am Arlberg. Zurich International Airport (200km one way) is accessible within two hours by car, Friedrichshafen Airport (120km one way) within 1.5 hours. The International Airport Munich (300km one way) is accessible in 3 hours.

During winter Lech is accessible through the Inntal motorway A12 and the Arlberg pass or Arlberg tunnel from Innsbruck in the east as well as through the Rheintal motorway A14 over Lindau/Lake Constance from the west. You will reach Lech through the Flexen road coming from Zürs. 

Please note, that the road between Lech and Warth remains closed between December and April.
That means, an arrival through the Bregenzer Forest or the Lech Valley is not possible during the winter months. Please make sure, that your car has winter tyres. We recommend to carry snow chains for your safety and in case road conditions make snow chains mandatory. 

During summer the routes through the Bregenzer Forest and Hochtannberg as well as the Lech valley in Tyrol are accessible. 

Austria's motorways are toll roads. You can buy vignettes at every border, gas station and post office.
